As usual, I run my (Windows XP) system as an unprivileged user (limited account). I downloaded and installed a theme. It seams as if the package get installed in

%APPDATA%\Stardock\SoundPackager

This is kind of good... getting away from the %PROGRAMFILES% folder... but in case you're connected to a domain, and the domain uses roaming profiles, this folder will be saved on the server when logging out. In case there are a lot of packages the logout/login procedure will take more time than required. There is the LocalSettings folder, which doesn't roam, in case one may consider a sound theme as temporary.

Is there a way for me configure where SoundPackager will search for packages. Is the %ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Application Data searched?

If this is the case, then all users on the machine could benefit from one package repository.

The next update (beta) will have the ability to choose (for each user) where the soundpackages are kept and where the program will look for them.
